Interview: David Guetta At The World Premiere Of "Nothing But The Beat" Movie

Renowned House DJ David Guetta was at the Grand Rex Theatre in Paris for the World premiere of “Nothing But the Beat”, a full-length documentary-style film chronicling his life, career and meteoric rise from underground house DJ to global superstar.

The movie was shot in 11 countries around the world and features in-depth interviews with today’s most acclaimed artists including will.i.am, Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Taio Cruz and Usher and insights from dance music legends Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier, David Morales and Pete Tong.

It also includes some of the hottest new talent Guetta has worked with on his forthcoming album such as Afrojack, Avicci and Nervo.

The movie – a collaboration between David Guetta and burn, an industry-leading energy drink from The Coca-Cola Company - tells the inspirational story of David Guetta and his impact on popular music. By fusing house and electronic beats with hip hop and R&B, Guetta has catapulted house music from clubs to stadiums worldwide, ultimately taking it to the top of the music charts. Told through interviews with Guetta as well as anecdotes from friends, colleagues, collaborators and his wife Cathy, the footage is presented in an aesthetic that combines classic documentary storytelling with the stylistic elements and energy of a music video.

The movie, is a burn production in association with What A Music, renowned filmmakers Partizan (Be Kind Rewind, Part of the Weekend Never Dies) and boutique innovation house Deviant Ventures.

The relationship between burn and David Guetta illustrates a brand-inspired content strategy, a ground-breaking approach to brand and artist partnerships. The production was a true collaboration between burn and Guetta, working side by side to create unique, authentic and inspired content that presents a real life portrayal of the house music scene. 
The movie will launch in theatres and on TV in 22 countries across the globe in the coming months.
