Interview - With Miss Universe Hopeful Katherine Osborne
Hi Katherine, Thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions ahead of this weekends event What prompted you to take the leap to the Miss Universe Australia pageant? I was actually inspired to enter after meeting a 2011 Miss Universe entrant who was involved in 2 other comps I've participate in in the last few months. She is down to earth and doing really well for herself so that made me think that this is the type of pageant I would like to take part in. I like that the pre-requisites aren't just about looks. It's about ambition and personality as well and it celebrates the achievements and hard work of young women.
The Cliché Question … If you could meet one Person Dead Or alive Who Would it Be And Why …? Miranda Kerr. I just love her and everything she is about. She is a successful and beautiful, Australian lady, but she hasn't let the fame go to her head. She is extremely inspirational.

I would love to meet Queen Elizabeth I of England. She lived in a time when women had no voice or rights; she was very strong and led Britain successfully for many decades through wars and turmoil. I admire strong, intelligent female leaders who can create their own path in this world.
