Following the tsunami like ground swellcreated from the fantastically received world premiere at this year's Berlin International Film Festival, Finnish/German/Australian co-production Iron Skyis confirmed to have its Australia premiere when it opens the 2012 Gold Coast Film Festival presented by Australia Fair Shopping Centre on 19 April 2012. As World War II came to a close, several German scientists deployed Nazi spaceships to the dark side of the moon to establish a military base from which they could once again strike out at the countries of Earth. Now, in 2018, they're coming back. The plot of the film enthralled fans internationally, many of whom invested money in Iron Sky through its now well known crowd funding scheme.
