Conrad Sewell announces LIFE Australian Tour for this May

ARIA Award-winning vocal sensational Conrad Sewell will hit the road this May and June on his biggest Australian headline tour to date. His series of electrifying shows will kick off soon after the release of his highly-anticipated debut studio album LIFE.

The LIFE tour will kick off in Perth on May 25 then heading for Brisbane on May 31 before hitting Sydney on June 1 and then it’s off to Adelaide on the 4th and then wrapping up in Melbourne on June 7.

Fans can expect to hear hits like Healing Hands, and Changing, with cuts from Conrad’s new record LIFE including his brand new single Love Me Anyway as well as all of his past hits.

“I’m so excited to be embarking on my biggest Australian tour to date and to be bringing my little sister on the road with me. To be able to bring this album to life and play my full body of work is going to be amazing. Playing venues like The Forum and The Enmore is a dream come true.” – Conrad Sewell

The last few years of Conrad’s life have been a wild ride. He took home an ARIA for Song of The Year and also received nominations for Breakthrough Artist and Best Pop Release, and featured on Kygo’s RIAA Platinum smash ‘Firestone’ which has now accumulated more than 1 billion streams.

Conrad took the track to the live stage with Kygo, before hitting the road with Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 and playing on some of the biggest stages including Madison Square Garden and Coachella.

Conrad’s meteoric rise didn’t come without its price, however. Last year, the singer opened up about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, and how they had brought his career to a standstill.

In 2018, he pledged to turn it all around, pouring his newfound focus and drive into one of the biggest Australian singles of the year, ‘Healing Hands’. It brought Conrad his third ARIA nomination, racked up 21 million streams, and peaked at #1 on the Australian iTunes Singles Chart and #7 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

2019 will only be bigger, with Conrad’s debut album LIFE finally ready for release on May 17 . Written and recorded over the last four years in LA, it features collabs with Grammy-nominated heavyweights like Jamie Hartman (Calvin Harris, James Bay, Kygo, Rag’N’Bone Man), Busbee (P!nk, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson) and Stuart Crichton (Elton John, Kesha, Kygo).

“This album pretty much sums up my life to date. A lot of the album was inspired by my battles with addiction, regrets I have as a result of those battles, and the people I’ve hurt along the way. These were hard truths that I’ve had to come to terms with. Although the underlying message in most of the songs is one of redemption and hope that people can change… I suppose that’s what the journey of life is all about. I wanted to make a classic, timeless album with songs that will hopefully be played 50 years from now. No bells and whistles, just my truth and my voice singing with every ounce of pain and love that I have.” – Conrad Sewell

Joining Conrad at all shows is best friend and younger sister, Grace. Capturing the world’s attention with 2015’s hugely successful hit ‘You Don’t Own Me’ featuring US rapper G-Eazy, Grace landed herself an ARIA nomination with the single peaking at #1 on the ARIA, iTunes and Shazam Charts and #2 on the Australian Airplay Chart.

Grace and Conrad made Australian music history as the only siblings to have the #1 and #2 singles on the ARIA chart at the same time with ‘Start Again’ and ‘You Don’t Own Me’. Now at 21, Grace has spent the past few years writing and recording with plans to release new music in 2019.

Don’t miss what may be your last opportunity for an intimate show with Conrad. With his debut record on the way, 2019 will surely see his success continue to explode worldwide. Grab your tickets now!
