Falling into the new year in a buzz of art and music!

As 2016 drew to an end myself and thousands of others descended on Falls Festival locations across Australia.
We were delighted with some stunning and hot weather in Byron Bay as we prepared to ring in the new year with Hot Dub Time Machine the stunning location of the main stage in the well-known amphitheatre was full with revellers in the hot summer heat all dressed in gold.

As the countdown struck 12 the crowd went wild ready to kick off the new year with Childish Gambino this set the tone for an amazing festival.

The festivals remaining days were full of colour art and music as one can expect from the cult arts festival, campers were jumping into palm springs pools to cool off and shade was a luxury in the campground, throughout the day but as the sun went behind the horizon this is when falls really came to life

Acts such as Alison Wonderland, London Grammar, Ball Park Music and DMA’s just to name a few made a lasting impression on the festival goers

This festival every year seems to be growing from the small summer cousin of Splendour in the Grass to its frontline summer festival in its other locations.

Lorne has been the longtime home of falls and always a must attend on the summer lineup, but the festival has taken off across Australia selling out in record time for its Byron location.

In 2017 We recommend adding this to your festival wish list.
